Aubrey & Ernie | Kapok Special Events - Clearwater, FL | Destination Wedding Photographer

I had the absolute pleurae of getting to capture Aubrey and Ernie's wedding in Clearwater, Fl. These two were such a FUN, easy-going and sweet couple. Their love and energy were infectious, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. If that alone wasn’t enough, what made it even better was I got to work along side with the best videographer (I might be bias since I hired him to film my wedding lol), David with DVH Weddings. Aubrey and Ernie actually hired a full all-star vendor team! Nicole with Orchard Weddings was their planner; she was so sweet and easy to work with. Their florist did a stunning job on all the bouquets, ceremony site and reception hall and they happened to also be a fellow Atlanta-based vendor. Hiring the right team can really make or break your day!

Their venue, Kapok Special Events, proved to be a picture-perfect venue. As a photographer, I was in awe of its unique and stunning architecture, offering numerous picturesque backdrops for capturing beautiful moments. The indoor ceremony space was elegantly draped and bathed in soft candlelight, creating an intimate and romantic ambiance, perfect so you don’t have to torture your guests by making them endure the Florida humidity and heat.

Aubrey and Ernie did decided to do a first look and I’m so glad they did. They chose to do one so that the moment they first saw eachouther would be private and intimate. And man was it emotional; such a highlight of the day. As Ernie shed tears of joy at the sight of his soon-to-be-wife, it was impossible not to be moved by the intensity of their love. As I snapped away, I couldn't help but feel the emotions welling up inside me as well (p.s. I’m a crier and if someone else is emotional, I’ll be right there with them). I just can’t help it when the love between the two is so strong and I’m soooo genuinely happy for them!

Aubrey also had a heartwarming moment with her bridesmaids and did a first look with them as well. The love and support among these ladies were incredible. When they saw Aubrey in her dress, there wasn't a dry eye! She was a VISION!

Ernie and his groomsmen brought their A-game to the style department. Rocking matching pink Nike shoes, they were the epitome of cool. And wait for it - Ernie even wore red bottoms! I mean, talk about a groom with swag!

After a beautiful and sweet ceremony, their reception took a 180. It was a high-energy PART-Y! Love, laughter, and so many cool dance moves. This couple and their guests knew how to have a good time.

As a photographer, capturing Aubrey and Ernie’s love and energy was an absolute pleasure, and I felt incredibly grateful to be part of this extraordinary day. Aubrey and Ernie, here's to a lifetime of love, laughter, and countless adventures together! Cheers!
