Atlanta Wedding & Destination Wedding Photographer

Timeless wedding photography for couples who want to relive every moment.

Your wedding day will go by faster than you ever imagined. My job is to preserve it in a way that feels just as real years from now as it does today.

I'm Rachael, the photographer behind Aurora Photography. For over 11 years, I've photographed more than 300 weddings across Atlanta, throughout Georgia, and around the world. My approach blends timeless digital photography with nostalgic film, creating images that feel elegant, emotional, and true to your story.

Whether you're planning a luxury wedding in Atlanta or saying "I do" halfway across the world, I'm here to make the experience feel effortless from start to finish.

Timeless Digital & Film Photography

Some moments deserve more than one medium.

Every wedding is photographed using a thoughtful combination of digital and film photography.

Digital allows me to capture every fleeting moment with precision, while film adds a softness, richness, and nostalgic quality that's impossible to recreate digitally.

The result is a gallery that feels timeless, romantic, and filled with genuine emotion.

Whether it's quiet moments captured on 35mm film or your reception documented digitally, every image is created with intention and care.

Nicole and I did a lot of research before selecting our team of vendors. But it was pretty evident early on in our planning phase we'd go with Aurora Photography. We were captivated by her portfolio of pictures and we loved that she was so consultative during the entire experience. We liked her pictures so much that we even booked her for a family picture outing for Christmas (with our dogs!) as well as our pre-engagement pictures too!
We got sneak peaks to our wedding pictures and we loved her vision - the locations she picked out, her creativity, the way she used our groomsmen and bridesmaids, and it all went by so fast (in a good way)! I am in awe of the venue pictures she took as well!
The best part, however, wasn't how great of a photographer Rachel was
Choosing Rachael as our photographer was truly the best investment we made in our entire wedding planning process. While we're so grateful to all of our vendors, it truly feels like we gained a future photographer for all of our future events, and a friend along the process.

“Rachael was the absolute BEST choice for our engagement photos! She gave us plenty of direction with posing and helped us feel super comfortable and confident at the shoot, and our photos were delivered in a timely manner. Plus she is super friendly and easy to communicate with. Oh and our photos were absolutely STUNNING! Would recommend to anyone looking for an engagement/wedding photographer!”
